Linus's Idea

In 1991 Linus Torvalds,now age 39, became the chief architect of the Linux kernel for the Linux Operating System. The Linux OS has helped to usher in the new Open Source development method, in which programmers from all over the world can use the Linux OS as a platform for creating their own personalized systems. Since the innovation of Linux, which is based on the Unixoperating system , there have been countless additions and modifications to Linus's initial model, which is exactly what he was hoping for!
